All clients are required to complete a Client Card on their first appointment. It is important that the information you provide is correct and complete and the owner has made us aware of anything we need to know about their dog’s behaviour. It is the owners sole responsibility to advise us of any changes at future appointments.
By completing a Client Card the owner confirms agreement to these terms and conditions and that we may rely on the information provided.
We will not share customer details with other organisations. However, from time to time we may contact owners by phone, text, email or post with news, offers and service updates. We may also photograph or video dogs and use these images on our website or Facebook & Twitter page. The owner must let us know if they DO NOT wish to receive such information or DO NOT want us to use images of their dog.
At the time of appointment please ensure dogs are fit and healthy and all vaccinations are up to date. Grooming of sick or elderly dogs is entirely at the owner’s risk. Grooming may expose underlying skin or health problems that we cannot be held liable for, a Vet should be contacted for advice.
All dogs MUST be adequately toileted prior to their grooming appointment.
Dogs with extremely matted coats will be charged extra. If we feel that de-matting a dog would cause too much stress and discomfort we will recommend a complete shave off according to the Animal Welfare Act. This will dramatically change a dog’s appearance, as their hair will be short and close to the skin. In the event of matted fur resulting in the need to clip tight to the dogs skin to enable removal, the owner should be aware that irritation may occur from the shaving process. The dog's skin may get caught because of the close proximity of working to the skin. Not Fur Long Grooming shall not be held liable for any after grooming effects of matt clipping procedures or problems uncovered on a badly matted neglected coat. The owner will be required to pay all costs whether or not the groomer is able to complete the job due to matters arising during this process.
If a dog becomes seriously ill whilst in our care we may call a Vet and unless it can be clearly shown that Not Fur Long Dog Grooming are liable, all Vet costs shall be at the owners expense.
We may refuse to groom a dog that presents a risk of injury to either themselves, us or other dogs on the premises at the same time.

FOR MORE THAN 2 OCCASSIONS OF LATE CANCELLATIONS WITHIN A 12 MONTH PERIOD YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO PRE-PAY FOR APPOINTMENTS.
